Our Path
Cheyenne was born on March 31, 1999, and came home in May of that year — and immediately changed my life. By the end of that year, I left a high-paying corporate job to turn my occasional dog training into a full-time company.
Over the years, I became certified as a behavior consultant, received the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Member of the Year award, and served as president of the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, where I helped develop the first trainer skills and behavior exams.
What began as a one-person effort grew into a team of nearly a dozen trainers and half a dozen pet sitters, while I focused on behavior consultations. Through it all, Cheyenne was at my side — not just as my partner, but as an example for countless dogs and owners learning appropriate behavior.
Although I retired and closed the company at the end of 2024, I look back with pride on everything we accomplished together — and with gratitude for the journey that Cheyenne started.
